Let It Snow

Snow in the sky,
  Earth turning white—
A tree like a ghost
  In the gathering night
Low clouds above,
  White world below—
Barn roofs and houses
  Covered with snow.

Deep in his burrow
  The ‘possum is huddled,
Far in the bushes
  Snowbirds are cuddled,
The creek in the morning
  Coldly will gleam,
But I’ve got a fire,
  A book, and a dream.

Let It Snow, Louis L’Amour.

2014 in review

w00t—the WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared me a 2014 annual report.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,900 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 32 trips to carry that many people.
