Welcome to Texas!! If you haven’t already discovered it, you must visit Book People, directly across the street from the main Whole Foods store downtown. I could spend hours there, and have! There’s also Monkey Wrench books for the more progressive/leftist/anarchist books. Really cool place.
Thanks, Marjorie. Book People is amazing. I didn’t get to Monkey Wrench this time (but know the reference as Edward Abbey lived and worked many years in Tucson).
It is indeed amazing. So glad you got to go! Monkey Wrench is worth a visit the next time you’re in the city. Also the LBJ library, if you’re into American political history.

Hah! I’ve been to visit animatronic LBJ before; he’s a solid presenter and very welcoming. 😀
