Ed Mell

A fun discovery at the Phoenix Art Museum: Arizona-based western artist and sculptor Ed Mell. I love the stark, sharp lines and geometric shapes, rich colors, and breathtaking landscapes.

(His artwork is also featured on a US postage stamp.)

  1. Great stuff! His work reminds me a little bit of some of the Northern landscapes painted by the Group of Seven (Canadian art collective).
